Welcome to CareerPocket AI
Thanks for getting CareerPocket AI. Here's everything you need to get started in the next two minutes.
1. Launch the app
Bookmark that link. Your data lives in your own browser, not on our servers.
2. Activate your license
Open the app, go to Settings → License, and paste in the license key from your purchase email (or your LemonSqueezy order page). That's it — you're activated.
3. What you got
- Scores every job against your real experience, so you know where you actually have a shot
- Generates tailored resumes and cover letters grounded in your true career history — never invented
- Tracks every application so you always know exactly what you sent, and when
- Remembers interview insights so lessons from one interview help the next one
- Provides career coaching so you have professional guidance grounded in your unique profile
AI-generated content may need review for accuracy. Review and edit every generated cover letter or tailored resume before sending it to an employer.
4. One thing to set up: your AI provider
CareerPocket AI doesn't come with AI built in — you connect your own. This keeps your data private and keeps costs low: you don't pay inflated credit prices, just the tokens you actually consume from your AI provider — or free if you run a local model. Go to Settings → AI Provider to choose one — full instructions are in the Setup Guide, linked below.
5. Set your backup folder
Your data lives only in your browser unless you back it up. The first time you open the app, you'll be prompted to choose a Backup Data folder on your computer — pick somewhere you won't lose, like your Documents folder or a cloud-synced folder that's automatically backed up to a provider you trust. The app backs up automatically after that.
Privacy, by design
Nothing you type — your resume, your job search, your conversations — ever touches our servers. It's stored locally in your browser and only sent to the AI provider you personally connect, using your own API key.
